Postcard with the flag of Hawaii

The last queen of Hawaii wanted to show her political sympathy to the USA and the UK in the flag - hoping the two world powers would balance each other out and leave her Kingdom independent. So she utilized the stripes of the US and the Union Jack of the Brits. Still todays banner of the 50th State of the USA.
